I happened upon a buyer for my old car. Happy I guess.

It's just...he turned down my offer to let him take it for a mechanical check (bummer for him), no test drive either, and he has to get a drink driver's interlock device fitted into it post-purchase LOL.

Better make sure I cross all the T's and dot all the I's when transferring ownership, because he doesn't sound like he's got a stellar driving history and I wouldn't want the rego to still be in my name when he does something.

My mom and I went to Dairy Queen for supper, and then I did some shopping at Value Village afterwards.

YAY

I fixed a latency issue with my audio on my virtual Windows... well kind of. Instead of emulating audio which was horrible in terms of quality, I passthroughed the HD audio chipset on my video card and can hook up my earphones to my PC through my TV so. All in all, I have better audio and better FPS in Windows games, I am amazed at what my GTX 980 can do and I am even more surprised now. I have almost 1:1 performance to native Windows now running on Arch Linux after adding unsafe interrupts and having message signaled interrupts enabled and USB, Audio, Video all having physical hardware addresses.

Basically its Linux and its fast and its compatible and its awesome. If anyone dares to try this, you have to have message signaled interrupts enabled to passthrough a real audio device or at least I had to. Also don't dare try this, running Windows in Qemu with hardware passthrough is probably on par with Linux from scratch as a project and to tweak it to the point I have is definitely on par with Linux from scratch. You have to do strange things in memory to get this kind of virtualization working on a code level.

Swimming in a clean lake with no noisy people about, and a trace of fog near the lake surface.

Sounds lovely.

Today i woke up, opened the fridge and as always, chicken sticks with rice and peanut sauce from the local Chinese restaurant. Have eaten that for breakfast almost every day during my vacation :) Mmmmm....
