Taking the time to accept certain limitations I have reduces my stress levels remarkably; then once I feel calmer and more level-headed, the alternative solutions arrive.

My brother got me these peach gummy things for my birthday, and they're really yummy, and they taste like actual peaches. 8O

went over to a muay thai studio after dinner with father. didn't go in for lack of having anticipated going, for not having prepared for first impressions, and feeling not so up to navigating potentially aggressive sales pitches, but it looked rather clean and professional through the windows and doorway. got a fairly good feeling about the location too, as it's in a bordering town, it appears to be in a more pleasantly slower area(with antique-style lamp posts along the street... for whatever reason, that was noticed, and with a fond feeling.), and it really is only one bus away off from a fairly easy walk. probably going to try and go back to check inside and get an idea of the place, people, and what the different fees are this weekend or so.

My copies of "I :heart: Monster Girls" (Monster Musume spinoff/doujinshi) came in the mail. They came with some nice glossy cards depicting the characters. Two of the cards were missing from vol. 1, but I got all of the Miia ones so I don't really mind.

I have been having this weird unsolicited feeling of pervasive dread recently for no reason, so today I made a point of noticing the good things - The weather was nice, with warm sun, gold light and clear skies but a nice cool breeze. The area where I was working is pretty. I met a succession of nice dogs. I was functional, verbal, and working a proper job. I managed to have lunch with a coworker and not (as far as I know) be too weird. Physical pain was minimal. :)
