I discovered a wonderful type of fiction called a drabble - basically, short-short stories (traditionally 100 words in length but I've seen them go from that, to a little over a thousand each). It gave me hope that maybe it really is possible to translate my daydreams to paper after all! :D

Getting invited to go to my brother's girlfriend's dance recital... This is the first time I've ever seen dancing live. I'm pretty excited. :)

The dance recital was a-MAZ-ing! So happy I went! I loved cheering for all of the troupes, and most importantly supporting my brother's girlfriend. She looked so beautiful and her dancing was fantastic too. She also seemed happy that I went, she hugged me like 3 times. :o

In the "unhappy" thread I posted that my water bottle leaked and my iPod got wet... I thought it was a goner, but my dad put it in a bag of rice overnight and guess what? It works again! Come to think of it, he once rescued my brother's iPhone using the same method after my brother accidentally dropped it in the toilet... :o (Don't worry we didn't use the rice for cooking afterwards! :wink: )
