I voted in the city election yesterday & I voted in the presidential a couple weeks ago. The ballets weren't mailed at the same time. My girlfriend mailed the city one for me today when she went off for the day & night.

I went to RiteAid & picked up my meds, I know it shouldn't make me happy but it's been raining today & the rain lightened enough for me to go out. I also started a med today that I was wanting to try; I saw my doc yesterday. I'm concerned about side-effects but I feel OK for the most part today. I'm supposed to take it twice a day but I'll wait a few days before I take it with supper.

I went to see The Accountant with my dad who is also aspie. We were not close when I was growing up after my parents divorced when I was six, and it's only as an adult that I'm bonding with him. We're both discovering more about being on the spectrum at the same time.

Get this - I was almost taking showers in the dark because the light fixture needed a new bulb, but it's in a bad place where I have to stand on a footstool without holding on to anything else and I almost fall usually, so it's been months that I haven't changed it. Anyway, I found these new LED bulbs that are warm color and can go in enclosed fixtures. I finally was able to get one in and now it won't have to be changed for 18 YEARS!!
WOO HOO! IT'S A MIRACLE!!

My hair goes darker in winter and it's started doing it; my complexion looks even paler as a result, and I like that :) .

Don't know about the cake, but I'm pretty sure the spider is.
