I'm of the opinion that the occasional swear word said at the right time can get a point across well, but when done all the time it loses effect. I hate it when people constantly swear and use the F word 3 or 4 times in one sentence - to me it just shows they have a very limited vocabulary.

I can swear alot but believe it or not when I'm really made I use the full extent of my vocabulary which seems very large to most people, or so I've been told. My feeling is if you don't feel comfortable you don't if you do you do don't force yourself or others to be around that language if they don't like it. One notable story I have is when I was in the college dorm I came back after a week or two with my mother and after about a week of being back I said the f-word or something similar and all my room-mates looked at me and told me they had been wondering why I didn't curse as much lol. When I'm with women especially my mother I don't curse. And I never spit in front of people so when others do I get grossed out lol I'm a prude to some a sailor to others

I don't swear, mainly because it never occurs to me to use a swear word. If I stub my toe, for example, it seems more natural to go "ow, I stubbed my toe!" Also, it seems more natural to say "poo" than "s**t".
