Looks like the discredited medical man wanted his fifteen minutes of fame to last longer, so he joined two variables in order to make a constant--in this case, Autism. he was hoping the tide of public interest would refute any criticism and so he could get away with fraudulent claims. This is not the first time a researcher has cooked the books to explain away his findings.

Vaccines are not made from something that comes from a corrosive gas, unlike flouride. Happy brushing! 
That said I still brush with Colgate Flouride, as recommended by my TV dentist.
