I have a girlfriend at last! Never thought it would happen

Hi everyone on wrongplanet.

I joined up yesterday to wrongplanet and i have a girlfriend at last. Been going out together for just over a week now and it seems to be working out well. It looks like i have finally been given the chance of happiness in life and to overcome the way that Aspergers Syndrome prevented me from doing so.

Congratulations! I know how you feel. Because after several decades of being very, very lonely I have also found someone, and like you, I never thought I would. I hope things stay this way.

Congratulations! I'm joining you btw. It seems I've finally found someone who really loves me, not only likes, with all of her heart. I was also so unhappy thinking I'll never find a girlfriend, and this one seems soo sweet.

A big thank you to all your messages of support here on wrongplanet.

I really do hope it works out as well as i will be heartbroken if it goes wrong as i really love this girl. I am 34 years of age and have had to endure a lifetime of being single. This used to make me feel suicidal as a result and i also have done quite a bit of self-harm in my time. I no longer feel depressed for the first time during my adult life and i never want to go back to feeling like that. I am going to do everything within my power to hold on to this girl. I dont believe in adultery (cheating) as in my opinion it is the worst crime possible.
