Just commemorating this day.

95 years since the start of the Battle of the Somme. A disgustng waste of life that echoed right across Western Europe's continent.

No Surrender.

I commemorate the 2nd of July, as it is now in this part of the world :)

313 years ago today, the first steam engine was patented.

I've been looking forward to this day for the past week, because today is the day that Star Trek TOS became available to stream on Netflix. :nerdy:

I'm in the process of hunting down all of TNG on DVD. I have resolved to not watch any of it til I have every episode in my possession and can do-so chronologically.

How have I accomplished this extraordinary feat? I keep what I have thus far in a slotted lock box. I'll have to invest in some bolt cutters when I get the last installment. :D
