I'm sick to my stomach & I'm depressed, I feel very yucki

I need free time, or I'm just gonna be an unhappy person.

I like to spend time with my friends, but I can't friend this much. I just think it's too exhausting.

With or without free time I am unhappy.

Lately I have had way too much free time. Toying with the prospect of volunteering at a suicide hotline.

When I did not have enough free time I felt a lot worse though

Anyways I am afraid of commitment

Sometimes, I have difficulty knowing when to take someone seriously or when I should take what they said as a joke. Sometimes, it's hard for me to know when to say yes and when to say no. As a human being, learning when to say no and when to laugh takes time, and it is hard, but it can be accomplished if I put my heart to it. I just wish it was easier, but I live in reality, and not in a fairy tale.

Talked to a nice asian girl on a dating site an hour ago. Everything felt so right, she liked my looks and i liked her looks. She was the nerdy type that watched LoTR but liked to travel and go hiking, had a great taste in music too. Then i asked her out and... quelle surprise - "I've recently broken up (yada yada) not ready for a date".

She is now on my blocked list, along with 993 others who "are not ready to go dating" or have some other problem (not being single, lying about smoking etc).

This is why I don't use Internet dating sites. You never know if anyone is telling the truth. Of course, if I told the whole truth about myself, I wouldn't get any responses.
