Would you consider pursuing a diagnosis ? As fraught and complicated as that can be, given age, gender and access to UK expertise via NHS being focussed in a few key locations, it could help. The more people (esp adults often missed out) that are diagnosed, the more the health service/general public has to recognise we exist.
Not easy to self-advocate, as I know from personal experience
, but it may be worth the effort. I think I need to talk to some support groups too, so I wish you well in your search!
