Tim Burton's upcoming movie Frankenweenie was originally supposed to be released in March, but Disney decided to release John Carter in that month and moved Frankenweenie to October 5th.
(Personally I think that was a smart move, because Frankenweenie is much more of a Halloween movie than a springtime movie. In fact, I speculate that part of the reason that Tim Burton's other 2012 movie, Dark Shadows, didn't perform well at the box office was because it was released in the spring instead of close to Halloween. But I think that it may still earn a bit of money since the DVD is coming out on October 2nd.)
Good point. I really hope
Frankenweenie does well.
