First episode didn't strike me as to terribly funny. Usually I'm laughing my head off. Just my opinion, and I'm not striking down the rest of the series for it, I just thought it was a poor start to the season.

I haven't watched the first show yet, but I will soon.

It's my favorite sitcom by far. Nothing else compares.

And Amy really is funny so she's my favorite character. It used to be Sheldon, but I think he's even eclipsed by how funny Amy is....

Amy is the best and I thought the first episode was great, that Russian astronaut floating around cracked me up.

I love watching Big bang Theory. it's funny how the characters relate to the main characters from Dexter's Laboratory.

What...no Bernadette option? The psychotic scientist lurking just beneath the surface makes her one of my favorites. Plus, she's kinda hot. :D

I thought the episode was really good except for one thing. *Spoilers*

They better not have it where Raj is gay. (no I do not have anything against gay people) That just is not his character. He is metro, not gay.

I did put in a Bernadett option, or at least I tried. It must not have saved. Sorry. :(

I liked how something of a human being that's hiding inside Sheldon is starting to emerge - especially when, learning from Amy that Penny might leave Leonard, Sheldon asks her, "Please, don't hurt my friend." And I really have to wonder when Sheldon will leave the safety of his asexuality behind, and have sex with Amy - as she's clearly dropped any asexual pretense, and now, as she says, her "loins burn for Sheldon."

Warning! **Spoilers**

Sheldon is my favorite, closely followed by Amy (LOVE the SHAMY) and then Leonard.

I am so excited for the new season! Thursdays have returned to being my favorite day of the week now! I love the character development that is taking place! I hate shows where the characters never grow, it's not realistic.

Haha love when Amy says she'll marry Sheldon... in 4 years Lol.

I have nothing for or against Raj coming out as gay. I am just VERY curious to see what happens. Like has he really been hiding it/in denial the whole time? OR is he just metro and sort of exploring his feelings right now??

My bet (1 donut of your choice) is that Raj will find a girlfriend of his own in the next two seasons.

I find "the big bang theory" to be very offensive.
it is not funny, it is insulting. as they make fun of people with disabilitys.
I'd have to compare it too "ICarly" becuase that show was extremly offensive. altough I did not realize that untill I saw several episodes where the main characters directly insulted those with mental disabilitys.

how any one with aspergers can enjoy such shows is beyond me, when those shows are a direct insult to the mentally disabled.

But no one's making fun of Sheldon and Amy for their apparent autism (which is never stated in the show), but for their funny quirks. There's nothing wrong with us Aspies being able to laugh at ourselves. And it should be noted, both Amy and Sheldon are gifted and highly intelligent. I hardly see that as a slam on Asperger's. Rather, I see them as positive representations of Aspies.

serously? your really think it's ok to let people luagh at aspergers? it's shows like this that keep people from taking us seriously. it's why people have such terrible views on aspergers. the show is clearly offensive, I'm surpirsed more aspies don't realize this.
