No, but I have abstained from using fluoride toothpaste 4 days since I've had a dental sealant implemented on one of my teeth. Drank fluoridated water once over two years ago, it was execrable with an odious aftertaste and never again will I consume it. This is one of the primary reasons why I would staunchly object to any mandatory fluoridation scheme of the public water supply.

Neither is there any scientific evidence to indicate that a low concentration of fluoride in water presents a health threat, despite whatever the conspiracist nutters may claim.

If that's all true, it's rather funny, all this argufying when all the time fluoride did absolutely nothing but sit there. :)

I agree with the poster who said that hormones present in water supply are a more pressing issue.

Fluoridation in the UK is actually low. Here are the figures

Perhaps. But, for me, aside from the matter of introducing forced drugging of a population without their individual consent no matter how good the drug might be, what should be done with the question of appropriate dosing among all individuals who drink the now-drugged water? In real life, a 40-lbs. child who spends her day running around the yard in August might drink more than a gallon of water (and water-based beverages) while her 180-lbs. father who spends his day sitting behind a desk in an air-conditioned office might drink a couple pints of water in his coffee. Clearly, the doses are radically different and beg the question of governments who choose to fluoridate (there are fewer and fewer every day in the United States) without consideration to the larger doses being consumed by children even if their parents believe that fluoridation is "safe and effective."

There are some:

http://www.tomsofmaine.com/oral-care/toothpaste

https://www.honest.com/bath-and-body/toothpaste

http://www.jason-personalcare.com/body- ... -paste-gel

http://www.bleedinggums.com/toothpastes ... toothpaste

http://dentalcare.mercola.com/mint-toothpaste.aspx

But, I just use baking soda; dip your toothbrush into the open box, it collects as much of the soda as you need. Done.

Also, watch out for the mouthwash you use. It is being fluoridated, too.
