I'm a mother of two kids (girl and boy) with AS (he's already been diagnosed, she's on the way too).
This discovery started last year when i suspected my sun was hiperactif, so i'm still new on this. Or maybe not - i read the book "Asperger's Sindrome" and can you imagine who i found described there?? Me! And by the way, i am Luísa, i'm 38 and i'm from Portugal

Hello! I always seem to like the parents of Aspies best around here, especially the NT ones, although they never usually hang around for long. Glad to know you've signed on here though, welcome to WP!

Hi, I'm Laquita.I also have a little boy with aspergers. He was diagnosed just a few weeks ago. So I'm fairly new as well. I have another boy and girl no signs of autism yet. I haven't had the chance to read that book yet but every one says its good. All my info has came from the net. This website is great. Hi Luisa,
I,m also a 38 mom from Nfld Canada ,of a little boy with aspergers syndrome. he has been diagnosed now for almost a year before that he was misdiagnosed with AdHD. School tends to be difficult because he cant socialize with kids his own age that well. He is very advanced in his reading, we did not teach him to read he just knew how to do it. He also does well with spelling, he is very slow with writing and has a great deal of problems with math. Anyway welcome i hope we can help each other.
