Hi all

I've been reading WP for a while and am impressed enough to want to take the plunge! So I joined up and hope to participate in discussions - because you guys are SOOO interesting. Home at last!

I'm a 45yo woman, diagnosed last year after a lifetime of what I used to call 'climbing the mountain every single day'. My GP gets it and, obviously, so does the diagnosing psychologist. But the horrible thing is, other doctors (treating me for completely different illnesses) have even told me to my face that the dx is 'nonsense', and it's all a 'trendy fashion nowadays to have some sort of Aspergers'. It's unbelievable the arrogance of some medics.

I could rant on about that for ages.

'Ambient Rainbow' because I so like rainbows and ambient because all my life I've also lived in a naive bubble of 'everyone's nice and and kind and honest'. Yeah, right! Somewhere over the rainbow...but not in real life!
