I'm 24 years old, disabled, and have never had a significant other. I never even dated, and missed out on the whole teenage experience. I have nothing to offer anyone, but I am a very lonely person and longing for love and companionship. What the hell do I do?

well, disabled how? Wheelchair? Cerebral palsy? Deaf? Anything glaringly obvious?

I'm 40, disabled (physically due to "fibromyalgia" and also under autism), never dated/relationshipped, and I'm at the point where if nothing happens in the next ten years that it was never meant to happen. And quite frankly I don't know what to do, either.

You could try joining support groups offline or online for other disables & you might could meet a girl who's also disabled.

I feel you, TS. I can imagine that I can feel quite depressing and draining to try and find someone when you are disabled.

Do you have preference for disabled or non-disabled people?
I think the datingsite is a pretty good advice. Or, depending on your handicap, you can try a sport or activity organized for handicapped people (if you like sports). This way you can meet other disabled people in meat space if you feel more comfortable with this. A matchmaker could be an option.

Your topic reminds me of these series

I thought that was really inspiring to watch

Although things might be very difficult for you, this simply cannot be true as long as you have a pulse. Believing the above to be true really won't help you.

This makes me incredibly sad and I know it can't possibly be true.

You know, I ask the exact same thing, only I'm 18. I'm an aspie that REALLY wants love, and I have realized that I can either conform to NT standards (which is painstaking for me), or date someone else who is an aspie (which I prefer). It's a shame that so many girls easily fall for the wrong people without considering the guys who really care (like me). I have, slowly but surely, been able to discern what my type is and what they look like and what their personality is like.
