I have good news for all of you.

A friend of mine is on good terms with me. I had spoken about her before in another topic in this forum. I have been "beating around the bush" in front of her a lot. Sometimes, I want to communicate with her by doing something totally irrelevant. I think I have since broken that habit with her. I have gotten right to the point when trying to speak with her. I have always liked her, and I have respect for her even though she doesn't understand my way of speaking. I think I have a nice relationship with her.

I can see your point of view on the
way we autistic person's speak, and
not be understood. This is a good
thing you did, and I say congradulations.
Hmmm? I have read your posts and
don't see any problem with how you
communicate. How does you sound
to her?

A lot of us (myself included) have trouble speaking in real time (real life). My problem is I don't know how to correctly change my tone of voice to make a point. Or I'll make up a confusing joke that's funny to me because I can follow the logic in it. Other things like that. Socially, the internet is my main source of socializing and communication because when I mumble, people can still hear me.
