Wondering where people who are diagnosed, or very self confident of being on spectrum, are on the issue of expressiveness of their own face.

I've been told that I rarely use face expressions but that's probably because I find it difficult to understand a lot of face expressions and use them myself.

I either don't have any expression or use a lot of over-exaggerated expressions. People are always telling me my face looks weird, lol.

I've been told that my face doesn't give anything away, but also that I'm an open book. It depends on the situation.

People think I am depressed most of the time, and if they don't really know me they end up asking me whats wrong alot. Other times I make rather expressive odd facial expressions. Mostly when I am talking. Most think it is rather comedic.

Mostly a poker face. But then when I get excited, people say I'm a crazed maniac or an immature child.

Depends on my mood.

If I'm trying to fix something or change something, I'm mostly unexpressive.
Any other time, though, quite expressive.

I'm not sure but often I wonder if my facial expression is appropriate, especially when someone is talking to me for a while. I often worry that I'm not giving the right expression or if my eye contact is too much or too little. I'm unsure about what my expression should be like if someone is telling me something and I'm merely listening

I'm not sure either. I don't think I send the right signals sometimes.

I depends of the situation. My face usually has no expression at all (not a poker face - just no expression, a "blank stare") but when it does it is exaggerated. For example when I smite it is a huge smile that I can't stop and if I am sad my whole face looks very sad. I can't control it at all.

I think I have an expressive face.

However, there is some evidence to the contrary:
People tell me that I look worried or sad at times when I am relaxed or happy.
I am shocked by my own expression in photographs--surely I never really look like that!

Reasonable conclusion: I have no clue.

^^Pretty much the way it works for me. I've had to learn how to plaster a convincing fake smile on my face when a co-worker unexpectedly comes into my office. I was actually getting complained about to management because I "looked pissed off all the time." :P
