i am having issues with my computer.

i recieved as a present, the Journey to Wild Divine game and it wont play all the way. In fact it barely starts up. It gives me a message that says something like "298 kilobites required. Game may not play optimally."

What do I do?

What kind of computer do you have and what operating system? How much ram do you have? It sounds like you don't have enough memory available. This could be the result of a variety of things, including your hardware, or possibly more likely, some other application hogging the memory. It is possible that you have spyware running. If you have other applications open when you try to start the game, close everything and then execute the game.

Just looked it up; it seems really neat:

"298 kilobytes" sounds odd. Sure it wasn't 256 or 298 megabytes?

Does your system match the requirements?

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS:

* Intel Pentium III, 800 MGHz processor or higher
* Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, or XP
* 16 MB video card
* 1.5 GB of Disk Space required
* 256 MB or more of free available system RAM
* 800 X 600, 24-bit color display
* USB Port
* CD-Rom drive
* SoundBlaster or compatible sound card & speakers

Macintosh Requirements:

* G3 or G4 OS-X
* v10.1 or higher

I'd start by comapring the system requirements of the game against what's in your computer, checking the hard drive space available, and checking for viruses and spyware. My favorite anti-spyware program is Spybot S&D. IF you need any additional explaination for any of this, just ask.
