Just wondering if anyone else gets any uncontrollable twitches / spasms when tired / exhausted / very anxious?

If I am tired I will get an uncontrollable leg twitch / spasm which can range from my leg just moving a bit or pretty much kicking.

It doesn't usually hurt but is uncomfortable unless I am standing up, in which case it will hurt and I will usually end up on the floor if I don't find something to lean against and take the weight off it.

The sensation itself feels like an electric shock.

Speaking of electric shock, occasionally (once a year), I will get a compulsion to turn my head to the left and when I do an electric like shocks runs from the base of my spine all the way up. needless to say this is incredibly painful and usually leaves me in shock and unable to move or communicate for a minute.

The leg spasms when you are tired are called hypnic (or hypnagogic) jerks and are quite common. I get them as well.

As grahzmann said, leg spasms are nothing really to worry about: I have had them occasionally when very tired.

Turning one's head too quickly and suddenly, or too far, could well cause pain, especially in the upper part of the spine and the neck. Happened to me once or twice causing a few minutes' anxiety. Try to avoid turning your head too suddenly or too far.

I tend to have twitches in my shoulder and upper chest area, some can be very intense but they tend not to last long.

Not really. It's more like a tensing & untensing of my muscles.
