Hello,

I would like to say hello. First of all I'm not aspergers. I'm NT and I have severe social anxiety. I understand it's not the same thing. Sometimes when I go out, I feel really anxious and would wonder how an aspie could help me realise there's nothing to feel so paranoid and self consious about. I keep thinking everyone is staring at me funny. I also pick up on when everyone is staring and making fun, ect it's horrible. Do you get this? I would love to learn more about aspies and autism. Doctors said I haven't got any sign of being on the aspergers spectrum so I can't join anything. I always feel that you have a lot going for you and you've got each other. I hope it's okay that I come and join your chat?? :heart:

Hey Pumpkin! welcome to the site, ontop of being an aspie I also have some extremely debilitating anxiety. I actually just made a post about the paranoia I have about what others are thinking about me, and how it feels like everyone is watching me, scrutinizing my every move, and making fun of me....I don't know whats harder for me the AS or the anxiety...probably the anxiety, having AS doesn't help matters at all, but I'll manage, always do one way or another.

Mind me asking why you're so interested in autism?
