Cassava is poisonous if eaten raw because it contains cyanide.
It's usually grated and soaked in water, then mixed with coconut cream, eggs and honey and baked in the oven to form a delicious cake.

Cyanide would be an ok way to go.
Starves your body of oxygen.
There could be vomiting and seizures, but meh, nothing I haven't had before.
