I'm old-school I know. So my y favorites are from the 8-bit commodore 64/Amiga era. Aaah, nostalgia ! !!

And a lot more ... Also some cracking intros were an eargasm to me. A true art form!

While I think that Skyrim has the best ambiance I've enjoyed in any video game, I think the Witcher 3(and especially its DLC's) have the best soundtracks for making one feel a range of emotions.

And if you want to be depressed, the Last of Us Soundtrack is just the misery-filled soundtrack for you. It makes the most sense while playing so you can understand the dynamic it plays in bringing out the flavor of a scene or the inner struggle of a character.
