Hi, I'm new! I'm an undiagnosed Aspie (just been referred for assessment) and mum to three quirky boys.
My eldest is almost seven, hypermobile, socially awkward and has sensory issues but is happy so we aren't pursuing diagnosis at the moment. He loves Minecraft and the Titanic. My middle boy is four so he *loves* the number four more than all numbers and letters - everything has to be in fours! We are having some issues with lack of understanding, rigid behaviour, food, sleep, coordination, and self-care. We are taking him to a private paediatrician in December to try to get some more insight and help - our Local Authority diagnostic process only seemed to take account of the way he is in a nursery setting and completely disregarded our testimony. They have offered us a parenting course which so far has proved useless. My youngest is one and so far seems neurotypical - time will tell!
Nice to "meet" you all. :)
