What's your favorite Stim? And are you currently doing that stim?

Currently leg bouncing....

Sitting: Leg bouncing
Standing: Walking/running in circles
Lying down: Closing one eye and tracing farther-away objects with my finger

Various vocal stims

Currently wiggling my toes touching the ground.
So, no, I'm not doing my favorite stims right now.

Interacting with myself, usually not in public, for obvious reasons. Though while out and about, I have been know to find a quite little corner somewhere, and "get on with it" as it were, while doing my best not to get caught.

Running my fingers through my hair, -it's about the tactile sensation of hair moving along the webbing between fingers.
Back when I had a girlfriend, I used her hair and wore mine short, but since I'm single I've deliberately grown it to be longer than 2", so I can do this.

Just posting to clarify.

You have webbing between your fingers?

Walking a coin (or pencil) over & under my fingers, endlessly.

It's one of those stims you can do anywhere, it's complex & repetitive, takes practice and concentration but best of all it mildly strains tendons enough to really *feel* it...yet it is mostly ignored.

Reciting lyrics, listening to the same song over and over again. Bouncing around, playing with my hair.

Rocking, bouncing, flapping, clapping, humming, repeating dialogue from films over and over. I'm rocking right now.

If I can match the pitch of whatever is causing the dominant white noise in the background of a the space I'm in, I feel great. I have to be careful not to let my humming or singing get too loud in public though, that's awkward.

I like flicking a pencil in my hand for a visual stim, jiggling my leg when I need to appear Neurotypical, and scratching my ear is my favorite thinged everrrrr.

When I'm happy I'm singing atonal nonsense or some made up song with the natural pitches (not sure what they're called but they resonate nicely and it's why eastern music sounds off pitch, actually it's western music that is off! Lol)

And I like to mimic vowel sounds from other languages which aren't in English.
