George Lucas has state on many occasions that he will never film episodes 7,8 & 9. He realized htere was no need. Anakin fulfilled his destiny, the Empire was overthrown and everyone lives happily ever after. Besides, the EU universe after 4,5 & 6 is kept alive very well in books.
