um, when you change resolution it is like having a can of beer (your fonts) in a shoebox (low rez) and taking your can of beer and putting it in a refrigerator box (high rez). When you compare the two, the can looks a heck of a lot smaller in the refrigerator box. Since the screens are the same size it looks smaller in the high rez than in low rez. if you don't believe me, open a pic file in whatever and change your resolution. when you change resolution the pic will appear to change size but in reality the total area of the screen is changing whilest the pic is holding constant. The same is true with your fonts. Microsoft is *not* playing games with the users, it is just a optpical illusion.
