But paint is free (well, ok not really but it comes with windows) and photoshop is expensive. Nice drawing!

painter > photoshop :p

(okay, in reality, they are useful for different kinds of work - also in terms of painting. painter is more versatile in that department, though.

I can't imagine anything being done in MS Paint that couldn't be done just as well if not better in Photoshop.

Except for learning how to use it, of course...

I've had photoshop for years and I still know very little about it. I prefer mspaint because it's very familiar to me and plus it doesn't take like 2 minutes to boot up. I only use photoshop when I need to do something that cannot be done in paint.

Paint is cool sometimes when you want to do art because sometimes in art you want to limit your tool-set to help get the creative juices flowing.

Like maybe if you have 20 effects pedals and a killer amp, but right now you just feel like strumming the acoustic guitar you got for 12 dollars at the flea market because it has a cool 2-inch crack on the back that makes it sound cool.

I can't get Photoshop, so I use Paint.
