I think Weiner has a misguided conception of what a "cool" guy is.

He believes a "cool guy" is the type that like to "party."

He is afraid of his own apparent "nerdiness," not realizing that his "nerdiness," just might be what attracted him to his wife.

He's probably not really a "bad" guy.

But certainly not somebody who a self-respecting woman would take seriously.
