I'm new here, but I'm going to be very blunt. I don't refer to myself as an "Aspie" (I've always hated that term) but I have Asperger's Syndrome, that was legitimately diagnosed. I had to spend a month in a children's hospital when I was 13, had all sorts of tests and what not done to me. I don't think I'm special, and having AS paired with OCD doesn't make for great living. Harsh stuff aside, I'm a pretty open minded person, I get along with people fine, I just tend to enjoy my own company IRL. So again, hi.
