I have been able to draw a very few drawings as a kid that weren't too bad for a kid, but I've never been able to replicate them, so I just got lucky with those. I have never been able to draw well, and my level is that of a not all that good elementary school kid. In my 20's I started making a drawing of Concorde, seen from above. I got one side of the plane looking really good, but I was never able to make the left side of the plane as good or even similar to the right side of it. I probably still have that half plane somewhere. At 11 I drew a wolverine that wasn't too shabby, and in junior high I drew a duck and a ninja turtle that were very good for my level. Those are the only drawings I have made that looked good. All the rest have been your typical kid stuff, and those I did well aren't things I was able to do again.

I find using Paint or similar programs is much harder than drawing with crayons/ pencils.

You are no doubt right but I'm not really any better using crayons/pencils.

Some reasonable pictures using Paint.

I'm attempting to up my efforts, I like to express deranged junk rattling around in my head via different mediums but neglected a lot of that with the strain that life took out of me, I am slowly splashing around and finding I have a lot of oddment to pour out in various funnels, I like shading when I get going, never had the patience to properly figure out how to draw in proportion, often I get frustrated and rip it up but I should just keep going. I prefer paint cause you can mask your screw ups and bathe some funky colour froths up. I'll persist and see if I make improvements over the year, I won't be giving up cause I had enough time ignoring my desire to ascend my doodle skillz. I gotta see what manifests, I have fun with other creative outlets when I get going, so I'll see how I do! I get too mesmerized by detail and then lose confidence when it's time to move on to another section.

I'm a very good drawer. I drew and shaded in a picture of The Kinks in the Summer of 96 and completed it just before the Olympics started. I've been drawing pictures of my dreams and things conjured up from my wild imagination over the past year and a half. I'm turning my favourite vegetable, peas into works of art. Each pea has their own character and they're all doing something different. I call it my Sweet Pea art.

I use to be able to draw really good when I was a kid, my parents really encouraged it which made me feel really put on eventually leading to me dramatically saying I would never draw again! I mostly have stuck to that. Always had issues with school art teachers for some reason, I've always been a little contrarian.

My drawing is horrible but I have bad fine motor-skills & a tremor disorder that acts up when doing things with fine motor-skills. I avoid writing except for singing my name cuz my handwriting is horrible. I'm right-handed but have the pen grip of a lefty.

Oh wow, it's incredible that those have been made on Paint! I can hardly even write using Paint! Thanks for the link, it was fascinating to watch.

I've never been that good at it, but there was a time when I was a bit more dedicated, and even posted some of my artwork online. It's quite laughable looking back on it, but nowadays I can't even begin to draw like I used to, because I'll start drawing something and almost immediately give up on it. I'll take one look at what I'm drawing and think "this is pathetic, like something a little kid would draw." It's ironic, but my perfectionism is what prevents me from moving on and evolving my talent as an artist.

I'm constantly drawing, but I'm not very good at it.

I was told I drew nice pictures as a child, but now I can't draw at all. When I began my watercolor class last year, I was nervous because I can't draw freehand very well. Fortunately, I had a picture to trace and it turned out to be very fun.
