It's not the first time Americans have worried about nuclear war.An elderly friend that grew up in Brooklyn told me about nuclear bomb drills when they were in school.We got through that scare and we can only hope we get through this ok.

I knew it - Trump just addressed the UN and said that the only option is totally annihilating North Korea and taking out "Rocket Man". Like I said, let's just do it and be done.

He didn't say that was the only option. He said that was the inevitable option if NK attacks the US or its allies. Just stating the obvious.

Given the mental deficiencies of the two saber-rattling twits in charge of the United States and North Korea, I'd say it's a slim possibility at the moment. But we can only hope.

I can't predict if Manafort will flip. If he goes to trial, Trump will try to fire Mueller and replace him with a stooge, maybe Christie? I find it difficult to not sound completely absurd when I talk about DJT lately, because the whole thing strikes me as hideous, nefarious, dangerous and hilarious, all at the same time.

BREAKING: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reacted angrily to President Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly, calling it "unprecedented rude nonsense." The North Korean leader said he will make the U.S. president "pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying" North Korea.

"I am now thinking hard about what response he could have expected when he allowed such eccentric words to trip off his tongue," Kim said in a statement released by the state Korean Central News Agency, which also published a photo of the North Korean leader sitting at his desk. "I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire."

Actually they are talking about it on Fox and someone said it's pronounce "doderd".

So I looked it up and it is a word! It means: an old person, especially one who has become weak or senile.

I'm impressed. Fat Boy seems to know some different words. He's going to wish Trump was a "doderd". Rocket Man isn't going to know what hit him - literally. He's picked the wrong world leader to bully. Maybe he forgot that Obama isn't in the White House anymore.
