Hey,
I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right topic (this is my very first post lol)

But I have a little bit of a habit... more like an addiction. Unfortunately, I am a smoker.
It happened when my antidepressants stopped working and I was looking for "another way" to cope (a friend suggested it) ... Fast forward 4 months and I'm addicted

I've tried going cold turkey, but that doesn't work for me and makes me crave them even more!
Smoking where I live is expensive, besides the health effects.
Does anyone have any tips/methods I could try to kick this nasty habit once and for all?

Thanks!

Bupropion. Take that antidepressant for a while and you'll likely just lose the urge all together. I've known several people in the last 10 years who used that successfully to quit smoking.

Don't mean to be harsh but I only gave up when I had a real reason to give up.

I had tried a few times and slipped back into it when drinking etc, then my dad was rushed into hospital to have heart surgery and he was a smoker, I was smoking a cigarette when I was told of the news, I stubbed it out and never picked up another, that was 10 years ago.
