For the first time since making his ridiculous claim that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower, today he will meet the press on the occasion of Angela Merkel's first visit to the Trump White House.

He has said it is Merkel's fault that there are so many terrorist attacks in Europe, because she let in too many refugees.

This also comes the day after Sean Spicer claimed that the British government spied on Trump Tower at Obama's request. A charge which is very awkward for Teresa May.

Trump just can't help dragging everyone down with him.

Anyway, today's press conference should be bigly.

This just in:

Business Insider: The White House has reportedly apologized to Britain over debunked Trump Tower wiretapping accusations

Spicer is hung out to dry again.

Quote:
The Telegraph reports that both Spicer and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster apologized to Britain.

It's all Mexico's fault!

Ironic, considering that we know that the NSA actually did intercept Merkel's cell phone calls.

That is Trump's job as President. But that is something he will never do.

“We said nothing,” Mr. Trump told a German reporter who asked about the matter at a joint White House news conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel. “All we did was quote a certain very talented legal mind who was the one responsible for saying that on television. I didn’t make an opinion on it.” He added: “You shouldn’t be talking to me. You should be talking to Fox.”

From what I'm seeing, Trump is publicly reacting to news stories,
which may or may not be fake news.
And then the news media reacts even more ...

If newspapers have anything, it's a record. Taking that into account, and getting a variety of perspectives, there's no illusion which news is fake. Or, okay, more fake.

No, it's Merkel's fault, for letting in all the refugees!

Naturalplastic was being facetious. He was making fun of Trump's statements about Mexicans being "rapists," etc.

So none of this would've happened if they hadn't become refugees in the first place.
