I live in an old town from brazilian colonial era, the city is very catholic and keep some portuguese religious traditions... on lent time there is this parade, it seems that in Brazil it happens only here, that is about the dead – like preparing the dead for easter or something like that. They just go out in the street and play this very sad songs and there is a pray/singing in latin. I can hear most of this from my house and I feel really sad and scared. I don't want to be disrespectful to the culture/tradition, but this is very macabre and makes me feel bad.
