Wordpress themes (and executive dysfunction)

(This is actually a minor rant that probably doesn't deserve a reply.)

I'm contemplating the design of a large website. I'm quite good with HTML and CSS, but Wordpress themes always annoy me. My natural tendency is to want to rebuild the whole thing from scratch; then for a while I try to work within the system and tweak it, which never works; and then I'm back to wanting to rebuild the whole thing from scratch. Plus I keep thinking I'm going to find a theme that's close to what I want and so won't require as much work, but I can never find such a theme. So if my executive functioning were sharper, I would some time ago have just picked one, chucked the junk in it, and had it half built by now. Instead I am still dithering around the edges.

I have no computer language skills, but the rest of it sounds just like me.
