Hello!
The college that I attend has decided to create a group for autistic people. I am going to the planning session, and will have some say in the group policies. At this point, the whole thing is a very vague concept, with only the idea that this will not be some therapy group, but a way of forming an autistic community. Part of the group will be dedicated to activism, but the other part is just for autistic people to meet up. I guess my question is: what would you want in this sort of group? If you met other autistic people, face-to-face, what would you want to do together? I would gladly welcome any ideas. I hardly ever meet others like me, so I'm having a hard time imagining it. Also, I want to be sure whatever I suggest is something that appeals to more people than just me.

Thank you!

It's in Washington, not Oregon. UW.
