A motion proposed by delegates at the National Union of Students (NUS) conference warned there would be "consequences" for students who clap and whoop at future events.

At a conference session earlier this week students were told that whooping had "a serious impact on some delegates ability to access conference.”

Does anyone else find this rather ridiculous?

The overwhelming majority of motions that have been proposed by Student Unions in Western countries these last few years is laughable.

It's pretty obvious the NUS "leaders" aren't even legitimately concerned about these "issues" as the article mentions the very proposal discriminates against the blind.

Most of these student "leaders" get hired on by SJW friendly companies after gaining international publicity. At the end of the day it's just a means to getting a job since no company would otherwise see value in hiring a humanities graduate.
