Ugh... I was up until past 3:30 am last night, partly because I was talking to someone. It's kind of a catch 22. Socialization can help with my depression somewhat, but it sucks when it makes my insomnia worse.

I've always had trouble sleeping, but it got a lot worse when I started living on my own. I do things like exercise and eat foods that are suppose to make you tired. I get tired physically, but my mind is still racing and I still can't sleep. It seems like I can only sleep well if I'm cold.

I am currently having loads of problems sleeping. It started on 2nd January this year and has persisted ever since. I fall asleep really easily and then wake up 3-5 hours later and can't get back to sleep. I went to the doctor a couple of times and was given 2 weeks worth of Zopiclone, which didn't really help. I'm under quite a bit of stress in my life at the moment so I'm hoping it'll go once I've got my life in order.

I sleep about 2 hours per night. Been this way my whole life. My mom & grandmother too.
