Someone needs to invent mouse flavored cat food
I had thought about that then decided that "rodent guts with blood sauce" flavor probably wouldn't appeal to the soccer moms and grandmothers who do the shopping.
And just for fun, these are my guys, both rescues with one as juvenile and one as kitten.

Update: he still won't eat wet cat food. I've been giving him a third a can of tuna for breakfast, and a third for supper, with some dry cat food in a bowl to munch on during the day. He doesn't eat much of the dry food, but he does consume a bit every day. As I said earlier I'm not too concerned he was on his own for at least a month before I adopted him, so he knows how to feed himself if he's hungry. My new problem is trying to prevent him from jumping up on my bed at 4:30 in the morning and annoying me until I let him out, as well as an epic war for control of who gets to sit on the computer chair.
