Yes, it really is a thing that exists! Many years ago as a poor undergrad, I had an alcoholic roommate that took a date out to dumpster dive at a local McDonalds. My other roommates happened to pass by the place and noticed him doing this with her. They took pictures to prove it really happened. When confronted about it, he did not deny it. 8O He said he was just saving money from the date so he could drink more beer when he went to the bars later. He literally would eat trash to not have to spend on food. His girlfriend later married him, so I guess truly that love is blind (and in this case, unhygienic)...

55.) Laundromat (A friend did this to get a girl that was stocking him to do his laundry. She still chased after him for two months before finally giving up.)
