won’t be criminally charged but still face potential disciplinary action

Quote:
Two Ohio kindergarten teachers seen on video carrying a boy with autism down hallways and dragging him on the floor by an ankle won’t be criminally charged but still face potential disciplinary action.

The Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum reports the Crestline teachers hauled the 7-year-old to a school office May 8 after he acted up on the playground and started hitting and biting them.

When I was in 4th grade, I saw two duty ladies carrying a student to the office and they ordered me to "watch out" as if he was dangerous. My have times changed because there were no consequences for the duty ladies.

This side of the pond an arrest would surely follow without question, thank god.

"we have given them the tools to avoid situations like this."
And they were using a tool to avoid getting bitten again - grab the end which does not have teeth.

Even having autism myself I would have quickly had my fill of being bitten.
Pretty near instantly, actually.
Hurt me once and you've hurt me 15 times too many.

I wouldn't blame them, child was hitting and biting! Tools used for situations like this can only go so far. I think they shouldn't be facing disciplinary action, all they were doing was protecting themselves.

I find even adult Americans have problems understanding this too, if you fight with authority, you make it it worse by escalating it. that can result to aggression from authority figures like being grabbed or knocked down and getting on top of you, being tasered or shot, etc.

Teachers are authority figures so fight with them, you make it worse and bam they grab you and carry you and keep on fighting, you end up being dragged. I did see in the video they were carrying him and then it showed in the next shot he was being dragged.
