Can couples be too old to cuddle in the cinema?

This is a rather odd question but I don't understand. I was having a conversation with a family member about me booking tickets in advance to watch a movie at the cinema with my boyfriend. I said that we paid extra for luxury seats, so that we can sit closer and cuddle. Then my relative said that it's "silly" to want to cuddle in the cinema, and it's only something teenagers do.

So is there an age limit for this? Why are there so many complex rules on what to do when you're in love?

I've never heard of that rule, I would just ignore her if I were you.

No there is no age limit for cuddling, that's ridiculous.

No.
Ignore their jealous nonsense.
No-one wants to cuddle them for a reason.

Enjoy your cinema cuddles and snogs, never too old.

Same here. I cuddle with my girlfriend all the time & I'm 34 going on 35 & she's 35. My favorite thing to do is cuddle. I don't give a flying f#ck about them social rules.

As long as all they do is cuddle that's fine with me. Nothing gross or creepy.

In some countries couples aren't legally allowed to even kiss in public. You can get fined in India just for kissing the bride or groom in your own wedding.

I think you found out far more about that relative's personal issues instead of answering whether to cuddle is okay or not.

Do what you like as long as you're not causing anyone any offence.
