What does this kind of body language imply?

I was wondering what it means when someone gives you the silent treatment, turns and looks at you for a second before moving on.

For me, I see things in black and white but I wanted to know what that gesture means?

I'm just guessing but maybe they want to see your face, your emotions, how you took the silent treatment.

They're reinforcing that you are the cause of whatever problem they have with you.
It's supposed to be hurtful.
Acknowledgement, then dismissal.
I see you, but you're not worth my notice.

Body language like that tends to bring out my mischievous side. * attempts an innocent grin *

When they turn to look at you, ignore them. It really pisses them off. :D

I was on the bus on Saturday which was backed up in traffic, we were near a rapid transit station and I asked this girl next to me when she pulled the bell.

"Hey, are you going to the station?" She then walked out of the bus, and made the gesture that I talked about.

She made me mad but I wanted to come her because of my black and white thinking and get mad when I don't understand something.

I tend to do this to a lot of people, it's unintentional though.

Oh.
Well, now that you've provided more detail,
I see this situation in a different light.
Many people are taught not to talk to strangers.
Maybe the lady who ignored you was suspicious of you
and wondered why you were asking her a question about where she was going.
Her looking at you might have meant,
"It's none of your business where I'm going, so I'm not going to talk to you."
Maybe years ago people were more open to friendly small talk in public ...
Now people seem more afraid of each other.
It's a sad world.

It could mean many things. Maybe she was unable to talk.
