Well, we can look forward to another shiny but vacuous film, then. I won't complain, though: as long as he's busy ruining Star Wars he can't keep ruining Star Trek. (To be fair I enjoyed TFA...and then promptly forgot it as soon as I left the theater. In my experience that pretty well sums up everything JJ makes: enjoyable to watch but extremely forgettable. I enjoyed Rogue One slightly more: it was sorely lacking in a coherent plot and Jyn Erso was a horrible main character--and whoever thought CGI Tarkin was a good idea should be fired--but Director Krennic was easily the best villain in any of the films and I loved Chirrut Imwe [largely thanks to Donnie Yen's excellent acting].)
