I wonder if, ultimately, that will come with rescinding some of the more draconian attendance guidelines and insane monitoring of homeschoolers, and allow me to teach any children I have that do not thrive in the public education system MYSELF without inviting the State of Pennsylvania to invade my home at their pleasure and without notice??
Because frankly THEN it would suit me just fine. Without expending quite a lot of energy on pit-bull advocacy, the public school system fails the majority of non-neurotypical kids (and quite a lot of "normal" ones too, for that matter) with or without regulation.
It's a factory, meant to turn out interchangeable parts for whatever corporate machine is currently ascendant. It was never intended to be an institution of learning anyway.
