Lol I mean I am a metalhead and rock listener, so probably not the first thing people would think I listen to. But yeah I think she is amazing, so anyone else like her? Seems like she is kind of sarcastic in a lot of songs but I really like that with the pop music style she does...so not complaining but I think a lot is sarcastic.

I like the song she does about her brother smoking weed, is funny, but also her brother is in Game of Thrones, he plays Theion greyjoy I am pretty sure.

She is my guilty pleasure.

I find she gets her point across about serious issues by bieng witty and with bouncy tunes in an unusally effective way.

Yeah that is one of the things I really like about her...and most of her songs are just so catchy, but I really like her sarcasm in the lyrics.

Also, I am a sucker for her accent.

She is reported to be working a new album "The Fourth Wall" said to be about her kids and the breakdown of her marriage.

Yes, and I've seen her live a couple of times. Good music and a good performer.

I think I actually think i sort of like her smugness, to me she seems like kind of a badass who doesn't care what people say about her.

i suppose you would have to be an oppressed woman in order to strike a chord with her.
she oozes "couldn't give a f**k" but the term "smug" is too broad i realize.

i see her as kind of conceited and hostile to males. almost like a defense mechanism.

the music certainly does not propel me to clear the s**t off my piano to play along.
___________

yeah in answer to your other thread, i looked at the facebook photo you posted and i think you look fine as you are.

if i can think of anything, i think "bangs" (we call them fringes) cut in a very straight line just above your eyebrows would be good.
straighten all your hair i guess but keep it long apart from the fringe.

i wonder what queen elizabeth looks like after a swim.
imagine her hair all wet and straight as she pops out of the pool.

anyway whatever. if you can post a link to your favourite lily allen song, i will scrutinize it.

i can't see your link.

i have looked more into her and her world and i have discovered that there are tremendously talented people writing the stuff, and she is the true instrument they need to put the icing on the cake. she does sing well.

You can not see embedded links to youtube that are encrypted on WP. You must change “https” in the url to “http”

The song is named “Trigger Bang” and features Giggs who is the vocalist in the first part of the song.

She has a new album out "No Shame". It differs from previous albums in that it is very personal and not biting socio/political commentary

It has been a dozen since "Allright, Still"

That is what I like about her though, is that she doesn't give a f**k. But yeah I was thinking of sort of a fringe with all the other hair buzzed off. This time I ended up going for a kind of mohawk but it was not quite what I wanted....so I am thinking of having more hair buzzed off in the back so I mostly have the fringe in front of my head and with bangs as well...but then most of the sides and back buzzed off. I guess kind of like the viking hairstyle I heard of where they had a bunch of longer hair in the front with the back and sides shaved off
