Outer space doesn't exist- that's a basic tenet of flat earthism.

But now we have to give up believing in Australia too?

What about New Zealand?

The Bee Gees were actually immigrants to Australia. They were originally from the UK.

This actually all makes sense if you've read Discworld.

What they WANT YOU TO BELIEVE is the top half of our supposedly spherical ( but really flat disc shaped) world!

^ Makes me think of maps. I can never get out of my head that North is "up" and South is "down".

Another weird one I came across is that there's supposedly a space-time warping phenomenon called the "pac-man effect". This explains why you can go "around" the world - you don't, but when you get to the edge, you go through some kind of wormhole which teleports you around to the opposite side like in the computer game. I suppose the "pac-man effect" would explain the existence of "ghosts" as well!

It's because ...the early BeeGees WERE the Beatles under cover, and because the later Bee Gees were Maurice White, and Earth Wind and Fire under cover!

That Pac Man theory is new to me.

If you go on UTube you learn that most of these neo flat earthers answer the question of "why are able to sail around the earth without falling off?" by claiming that the earth is a flat disc. Imagine of the seal of the United Nations was a pizza pie. The center is the north pole. And the continents, and oceans all radiate outward. And the continent of Antarctica is not that blob of land at the bottom of a globe, but is like the crust around the edge of the pizza. And that crust both holds the oceans in, and keeps us from falling off the earth.

^ Yes, the "discworld" concept was the one that I was more familiar with too. The pac-man thing was in the news here in the UK after our first national flat-earther convention earlier this month, but it seems to pre-date that. It never occurred to me before then that there would be rival factions - could be kind of fun watching them try to lash together a "grand unified theory" or descending into internecine rage posting!
