Hi, I'm new here, and I'm hoping to meet other people who understand and share the experience of feeling 'split between two worlds' to coin a term used here before. I'm often unable to fit in with neurotypicals but can still get along with them and hang out etc. But at the same time I feel just as alien around many lower functioning people on the spectrum. I'm very bright, kind, and thoughtful, but my aspergers changes the way I socialize and think compared to neurotypicals. I guess I'd just like to meet and befriend other people who are bright, kind, and thoughtful that also share a similar experience to me in regards to being on the spectrum.
