I am autistic, but I can't understand why this web site shuts down at least once a day with the warning that its servers couldn't receive something or other. Seriously?

I thought CloudBear, CloudBare or LoudFlare was really quite legit and trustworthy. Isn't it?

Cloudflare is reliable; this is an SQL issue.

And, I don't know if it is my fault, but the site's main page vanishes after every Cloudflare stall-out.

May be it's the emotional overload of the database.
Can't say why but I found it hanging immediately after deleting a post.

The site goes down every night around midnight Eastern time I think due to some kind of maintenance. It also goes down periodically throughout the day & night due to glitches. For example deleting a post you've made causes the site to go down for alittle bit. The forum software really needs to be updated & this site should quit using Crapflare. I notice other sites that use it go down a lot too.

And ... I spent yesterday with an apparent WrongPlanet.net-imposed BLOCK NOTICE." From that point on, I neither received e-mail notices of topic updates, nor could I log in. I questioned Alex personally about what was up with that only to receive no reply. Wondered if it was all another URL hack (as the BLOCK NOTICE seemed insufficiently designed and worded for such a drastic measure). I even reviewed my most recent posts, which appeared acceptable by WP rules. What good is issuing BLOCK NOTICES if the user in question doesn't get told WHY he or she was BLOCKED?

And yet, the site seemed to open itself up to me this morning through the back-door of one of a few topic updates.

Seriously, I would like some answers.

It's a huge pain in the neck when you post something and those stupid errors come up. Fortunately, though, it usually isn't a long post.

So, you have seen the BLOCK NOTICE, too? If so, is it legit from WrongPlanet.net, or not? Mine appeared as a form asking for my e-mail address so that the "webmaster" could contact me. If it isn't legit, and my e-mail address is stolen, share, sold and marketed, I guess I will get even more hacks, spam and viruses. Gee, thanks.

Why is it that Bobs_BS_Hut.com can be as stable as a calm sea, but WrongPlanet.net ends up costing me?

I notice it happen quite often, at any time. I thought at first I lost my internet, but no... it is still there.

I just move on & do something else when it happens.
